Exero Vet Takes Major Step Toward ADA Compliance

New Orleans, LA, April 15, 2026 — Exero Vet, the free-to-access video database trusted by veterinary schools for more than 10 years, has completed a large-scale overhaul of its mobile app for delivering educational videos to students. This update includes full support for closed captions, a requirement under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

“Since day one, we have been committed to delivering a product that expands what universities can offer their students without impacting their bottom line. Bringing the app in line with current rules and regulations was the next logical step in ensuring that we can continue pursuing our mission for years to come,” said founder Jared Stanton.

Exero Vet’s head of production echoed that commitment.

“Since its inception, a constant priority of Exero Vet has been creating a learning tool that is as accessible and versatile as possible for those who need it. Adding captioning makes Exero Vet more accessible not only to those with hearing impairments, but also to those who learn more effectively when they can follow a written description of what is being taught.”

The app overhaul is only the first step in Exero Vet’s path toward compliance. Pyxis, the company behind Exero Vet, has also released the first set of captions for its 2016 video library through the updated app. The company expects to roll out complete captions for each additional year of the database at intervals of two to three weeks.

To date, nine veterinary medical programs have worked with Exero Vet. The platform allows schools to have high-quality video content created in their own words and using their own methods. Those videos are then delivered to students through the Exero Vet mobile app and the VIN Student Center through Exero Vet’s long-standing partnership with VIN. Captioning is expected to be available on both the Exero Vet mobile app and the VIN Student Center on a similar timeline.
